Lego City Toys - police station or fire station?
There are lots of construction sets to choose from, and Lego City toys are some favorites. If you’re spoilt for choice between the Lego City fire station and the Lego City police station, check out the contents of both toys and evaluate the play value for your child.
Lego encourages creativity and social interaction. Your child can imagine and build a real city, which will grow with his imagination. Start with one station and add new City toys, until he has his ideal city. Your child will never get bored while he’s making up new stories every day.
So which is a good set to start your child off, a police station or a fire station? Figures and vehicles are suitable for play in all Lego City toys, so your mini firefighter will fit in the police car, fire truck or helicopter.
The Lego City fire station includes the station, a fire truck, a chief’s car and four firefighter minifigures. The fire station doors open, so when there’s an emergency the fire truck can zoom out from the station and rush to fight the fire. The fire truck’s ladder extends high enough so the mini firefighters can rescue anyone caught in the buildings. There’s a fire chief’s car you can add to the set, and the fire rescue truck comes with a trailer and the equipment you’ll need to put out the fire.
The Lego City police station includes three police vehicles, police minifigures and the police station. There’s even a police dog. The station can be divided into two parts and it includes two prison cells and an interview room. There are spotlights on the roof, and the station’s gates and doors open. You can add extra police cars, motor cycles, helicopters and mini figures as your city grows. Your child can chase the bad guys, catch them and detain the suspects in the interview rooms.
The fire station and police station are two popular choices, so if your child hasn’t got either of these Lego sets, take a look at both before you decide. Lego City toys are perfect to introduce your child to the world of Lego, or if he’s already got some sets and figures, add the stations to his collection.
