Kids always love their bath time; they don’t see it as a time to get clean but a time to play! Bath time is great because they get to play with a different set of toys, their bath time toys. Bath Toys have become a category all by themselves there are so many choices that your child could have a different bath toy to play with everyday. Let’s look at some of the different types of bath Toys that are available today.

Bath Toys – as simple as it sounds but these include the basic style of bath toys. These usually include different characters that are made specifically for the bath and being in water. This can include characters from Disney such as Aladdin, princesses and princes, Snow and the Seven dwarfs, or characters from TV such as Iggle Piggle, Fireman Sam and so on, or farm yard animals or dinosaurs etc.

Water Activity Toys – these are great fun for the kids. They come in an array of different shapes and sizes but all feature around the idea of being played in water, whether the water is turning a windmill, or shooting up in to the air the kids can interact with the toy and the water.

Numbers and the Alphabet Water Toys – these are cut outs of numbers or letters of the alphabet that when wet stick to the side of the bath and on the tile walls. This allows your child to make up words and play around with the numbers. The numbers come with signs so you can set little sums for them to work out such a 2x2= this makes the process of learning fun which is proven to be a better way of teaching.

Water Guns – feeling brave? You can have a lot of fun with a water gun at bath time, maybe not a super soaker as it is a little too big for the bathroom but a little water gun can be controlled a little more and be just as much fun.
