Board Games are great because no matter how old you are you still find them fun, and there are so many to choose from that you can always find a game to suit your taste. Most Board Games state on the box what ages are most suitable for the game; this is more evident in childrens Board Games so you don’t want to buy a board game meant for a 10 year old for a 3 year old as they won’t be able to play it. With adult board Games it is general that all board games are suitable for all adults over the age of 18, and it usually specifies how many players the game takes to play such as 4-6 players required. Here is a closer look at some of the different types of board games that are available.
Top Gear Board Game – this is based on the very popular and successful TV show Top Gear. Fancy yourself as a bit of a ‘know it all’ when it comes to cars? This game is great for 2-4 players and the game consists of going around the board collecting points to create your ultimate car along the way. Perfect for the guys as they tend to be a whizz when it comes to cars and engines and all that, and its also for the girls who have a passion for cars as well.
Family Fortunes Board Game – this board game is fantastic for all the family and is based on the TV game show. The idea of the game is that you have to think of 5 to 6 answers answering questions such as ‘Name something that gets smaller when you use it’ but the idea is that if that same question was asked to a 100 people you have to think of the most popular answers. This makes the game harder because even though your answers may be right they might not be in the first 5 or 6 answers those 100 people gave. Survey says.. a great game indeed.
Tyrannosaurus Rex Board Game – this game is geared towards to children. Each player has a dinosaur of their choice and chases each other around the board with use of die, it can be played simply or you can use some devious strategies to catch other dinosaurs. A great game to teach kids about dinosaurs whilst having fun.
